About Hope

Hope has been a professional educator in both music and Bible since 1999. After earning her bachelor’s in Music Ed & Music performance from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1999, she later completed a Masters degree in Ministry Studies and Theology from Grace Theological Seminary in 2013.

A gifted musician and educator, she has taught both music and Bible ranging from middle school through adult groups over the years. During this time, she has developed a curriculum rooted in the culture and history of Biblical times which she has used to guide and encourage people in their walk with Jesus.

This continues to be the foundation of the courses we are now able to share with you through Tamarisk Tree Ministries.

Hope has a deep love for the scriptures and in particular, the ancient cultural/historical context of the Bible. In addition, she is passionate about helping people discover their worth and identity in Jesus by specifically designing her teaching to help them understand profound spiritual truths in a hands-on and
meaningful way.

It was during her first tour to the Land of Israel in 2002 that she realized the importance of the Geographic, Historic, and Cultural Backdrop of the Scriptures. It became the first of several tours to date.

Each subsequent tour has continued to expand her understanding of the culture and geography of the Land of the Bible.
